Features of the island include the Marina Piccola (Small Harbor), the Belvedere of Tragara, which is a high panoramic promenade lined with villas, the limestone masses called Sea Stacks that stand out of the sea (the Faraglioni), Anacapri, the Blue Grotto (Grotta Azzurra), and the ruins of the Imperial Roman villas.
It was here that I got my worst sunburn of the trip (but it helped along my awesome Italy tan), had excellent eggplant pasta for lunch and visited my first ever pebble beach where the water was clear and greenish blue - but the rocks proved to be too hot and very hard to walk on comfortably! people on these beaches have NO shame, moreso than i've ever seen in new york.
